Guarnitec's GT7 hydraulic seal (often referred to as GT/7) is a multi-component rod seal designed for heavy-duty hydraulic applications. It consists of seven separate components and provides high performance in high-pressure systems and harsh operating conditions.

Application range:
Pressure: ≤400 bar
Operating temperature: -30°C to +110°C
Surface velocity: 0.5 m/s
Media: mineral-based hydraulic oils, emulsions
Material: TPE + NBR + textile-reinforced NBR + POM

Structure and application:

The seal is a pack type (V-pack or Chevron pack) and includes 7 elements - a set of sealing rings, support rings and energizing rings made of textile-impregnated rubber.

Adjustable width: the number of elements can be changed according to the specific pressure of the fluid in the hydraulic presses or pumps, as well as the required width of the seal.

Application: widely used in hydraulic cylinders of excavators, cranes and heavy-duty platforms, where sudden pressure surges are possible.
