The hydraulic seal UPI has a symmetrical design and is suitable for both piston and rod.

Application range (the following limit values cannot appear at the same time):
Pressure: ≤ 320 bar; when the pressure is higher than 150 bar, it is recommended to use a back-up ring
Speed: ≤ 0.5 m/s for piston, ≤ 1.0 m/s for rod
Temperature: -20°C ~ +80°C
Media: mineral-based hydraulic oils and emulsions; not suitable for environmetally-friendly oils (bio oils)

UPI type can be used for piston and piston rod sealing. This type of seal has a large cross-section and can be used for a wide range of operations. The KVK polyurethane material used has good wear resistance. UPI series has a complete specification system.
Applications:
Working pressure: ≤32MPa
Working temperature: standard type -20℃～+80℃
Reciprocating speed: ≤0.5m/s piston ≤1m/s piston rod
Medium: General petroleum-based hydraulic oil, hydraulic water glycol oil
Oil, oil-water emulsion hydraulic oil.
Note: In order to prevent extrusion, it is recommended to install a retaining ring in the heel of the seal when used at pressures above 15MPa.
Install:
Such seals must have axial clearance (see columns h and H in the table). An integral piston may be used. To avoid damage to the sealing lip, care must be taken to avoid sharp edges during installation.
Material:
KVK polyurethane material, Shore hardness (SHA) 90°.
