The PDH type hydraulic seal is designed for use in piston applications of double-acting hydraulic cylinders operating under high loads.
It is manufactured as standard from a special elastomeric mixture of Teflon (PTFE) reinforced with bronze, a sealing ring of oil-resistant NBR rubber with a hardness of 80 Shore and two support rings of thermoplastic elastomer.
The PDH type double-acting seal offers a simple design, very good anti-friction action with a low friction coefficient and excellent sealing properties even with sudden pressure surges. It is suitable for high operating speeds and is a very economical solution thanks to its long service life.
It is manufactured in a wide range of metric and inch sizes.
The PDH can be used safely in the mining industry, in construction machinery and earthmoving machinery. It is recommended to be installed in combination with at least one guide element, depending on the operating conditions.
