А156 hydraulic rod seals

A156 single acting rod seal is designed to be used for rod application in any medium duty hydraulic cylinder. It is manufactured with high specification ALP Shore 80 NBR compound, NBR impregnated cotton and a POM extrusion ring. It is suitable for work even under low pressures and poor surfaces, while its back-up ring provides a high rate of flow resistance. 

A156 seals with innter dimension of less than 40 mm are recommended to be used together with an open housing seal. It is also advisable for this seal to be used with at least one guiding element, such as А251, А254, А255 or А256, depending on the working conditions.

A156 can be used for any medium duty hydraulic cylinders, mobile hydraulics and presses, mining equipment, after market  and standard cylinders.
