Hydraulic Rod Seals U+S

Overview

U+S is a combination seal. The star ring provides the pre-compression at low system pressure and is transmitted to the sealing edge of the U-ring when the system pressure increases mainly related to temperature, regardless of the change, when the U-ring is worn to a certain extent, the star ring will play a compensating role to ensure its sealing effect. 

Advantages

U+S has good wear resistance and extrusion energy resistance; insensitive to vibration loads and pressure peaks; ideal sealing under idle and low temperature conditions; easy to install. 

Application

U+S is mainly used for sealing pistons, piston rods, air drills, telescopic cylinders, forging machines, mobile machinery and other hydraulic equipment.
