CQ Hydraulic Piston Seals

CQ is a double acting piston seal for medium and heavy duty hydraulic applications. Its unique design has a X-ring (star ring) on the PTFE slip ring to prevent internal leakage. The PTFE slip ring is a stable rectangle with two O-rings. CQ is generally used in travel device hydraulics, cranes, standard cylinders and accumulators. CQ can be ordered without O-rings and star rings.

O-Ring/X-Ring Material

1. NBR70 (nitrile rubber): -35℃ ~ 110℃ (standard material)

2. FKM75 (fluororubber): -25℃ ~ 200℃ 

Working conditions

Pressure: ≤500 bar

Speed: ≤3m/s

Temperature: -130℃ ~ +260℃ 

Material: PTFE 052 filled with 40% copper powder

Medium: General mineral-based hydraulic oil, water-glycol fluid, pressure oil, oil-water emulsion hydraulic oil.

Rubber Seal Tips:

• Replacement materials: Different applications require different replacement materials. KVK can supply various replacement materials for the O-rings and X-ring, such as fluororubber, EPDM, etc. If you need a material different from NBR, please inquire.
• The pressure range refers to the maximum pressure that can be withstood without a guide ring, and is related to the material, temperature, and clearance.
