A120 V-pack rod seals

V-pack rod seals A120 are single acting rod seal packs designed to be used in rod applications of hydraulic cylinders, and are made of  a combination of "V" shaped rings preformed and moulded with NBR applied on cotton fabric.

They consist of 7 elementsd in total: 1 front POM ring, 3 high specification NBR impregnated cotton middle rings, 2 NBR middle rings and one impregnated cotton back-up ring. A120 offer adjustable seal height, long service life, excellent sealing performance for low and high pressures, and can be easily assembled into open housing. Usage is easier if the ratio between the "B" height of open seal housing and total height of the packing is adjusted at 7.5%. It is recommended NOT to overpress the rings during assembly because it will lead to high friction.

A120 single acting rod seal pack to be used safely for any hard working conditions machinery: scrap yard machinery, presses, steel industry, mining machinery, tunnelling machinery, marine industry or anwhere else where rhe cylinder is expected to experience difficult working conditions.

A120 is recommended to be used in a combination with at least one or two guiding elements, such as A251, A255 or A256, depending on the working conditions.
